developers present initial plans for 1634 North Capitol St NW at the 10-16-2018 ANC5E meeting; no vote was taken

ANC5E04 Commissioner Sylvia Pinkney posted over at the Eckington list the results of votes taken at the Tuesday, 10/20/2018, ANC5E meeting.

Below are notes regarding Maedwell Companies' development plans for 1634 North Capitol Street NW, located in between Spark at 12 and Pub and the People.




5. Historic Preservation Review Board (HPRB) matter, 1634 North Capitol Street, NW.  A representative from the development made a presentation seeking community input.  The proposed development will house a neighborhood gym at the basement level, a teaching kitchen, lounge, courtyard, cafe', and hotel on the first floor.  The hotel extends to the second and third floor (40 rooms).  The fourth floor is residential, between six to eight units.  The fifth floor is a penthouse cafe.  

The Commission did not vote.  Input was provided.
