From a Flagler Place NW resident:
Warning on a scam in the neighborhood: There's a guy walking around saying he was arrested for a DUI, released from jail, has been walking for hours, and needs money for the metro. He points to a bracelet on his wrist to try to show he was really in jail. I talked to him Saturday morning at Flagler and W. Today, I biked by him on the way to work pulling this same scam in Shaw.

'Scam' is a bit strong of a word. I think 'con' would work better. It's just a dude making up a story to ask for $. Happens 100x a day in every city in the US.
