Subject: Empty Bowl in Three Weeks - Tickets for Lunch in Dupont are Going Fast!

Hi Scott,

I’d like to invite fellow Bloomingdalians to join the largest hunger non-profit in Washington for Empty Bowls, a fundraising lunch and art event.  Beginning with the lunch in Dupont on Wednesday October 5th, the Capital Area Food Bank will bring neighbors together to share endless soup, beautiful handmade pottery, and important conversation about ensuring all DC residents have access to nutritious food.  Each ticket, just $35, provides 87 meals to those who need our help.  Grab a friend and buy your ticket today to join this great community effort!

Thank you so much for any help spreading the word,

On Wednesday, October 5th, neighbors  are coming together to nourish those who struggle to get the food they need.
    • Taste unlimited locally made soups from Prescription Chicken (featured in City Paper last week), From the Farmer, and many more!
    • Choose your favorite handcrafted bowl made by a local artist to take home.
    • Support the work of the food bank through purchasing aprons and keepsake farmhouse-style bowls — perfect as holiday gifts!
