DC's worst pop-up of all time, 26 P St NE, recently sold for $699,000

I spied this neighborhood property sale:

P Street NE, 26-First Savings Mortgage Corp. to Doustan II Corp., $699,000.

Recall that Mari of the InShaw blog reported this piece of crap:

http://www.inshaw.com/blog/2009/02/26-p-st-ne-tall-piece-of-crap-for-sale.html

and who could forget the Prince of Petworth's label of "The Worst Pop-Up of All Time?

I think I'm going to vomit. I hate looking at that thing.

easy now, Brian. It's not as bad as looking at Donald Trump's hairpiece, although they have similar structural problems...

Does the new owner wear a really tall bad toupee?

NO, I meant the pop-up on P St., and Brian's comment: "I think I'm going to vomit. I hate looking at that thing."
