MidCityEast DDOT folks out at 1st and Rhode Island Ave NW this morning

Did you see the MidCityEast van and table out at 1st and Rhode Island Avenue NW this morning outside of Bloomingdale Wine and Spirits?

A team from DC DDOT were out educating the passers-by about the transportation planning portion of the MidCityEast initiative -- and soliciting feedback.

Thanks for coming out to Bloomingdale today!

Here are some pics from their visit:

This is Gabriela Vega of DDOT with a hurt foot.  Standing next to her is Will.

Who would like a parklet in Bloomingdale somewhere for a day?

Would the residents who live mid-block on the unit blocks in Bloomingdale be willing to give up one or two onstreet parking space to install something like a choker?

Lots of maps and stuff to look at!

After a few hours in Bloomingdale, the MidCityEast DDOT team relocated to the Park at LeDroit.  You can see them setting up their tent below.

Are our streets wide enough for "chokers"?

Did they offer any links to this information?
