First EVER sale in Bloomingdale/LeDroit Park over $1 million for 2 levels plus basement

1938 2nd St NW

Completely gut renovated by Blue Star Properties, 1938 2nd Street NW settled this past week and officially became the first property without a third floor to sell in Bloomingdale or LeDroit Park for over a million dollars.  Not only did it sell over a million bucks...it sold for $1,025,000.

Congratulations to the listing agent, Jennifer Myers, who is the principal broker of Dwell Residential Brokerage, and to Jeffrey Jackson, my colleague at Keller Williams Capital Properties, who represented the buyer.  You can see additional information and photos on this link.

Wow. Technically, this house is in LeDroit Park (Historic District) - across the street from Bloomingdale. Nice to see they could add a two story addition and a pre-fab garage to a house in an Historic District - turning a $340,000 house into a $1,025,000 house without an ugly pop up.Developers- please take note.:)
