100 block of W Street NW: thefts, unauthorized entry and lewd behavior

See this message from a resident on the 100 block of W Street NW between Flagler Place NW and 2nd Street NW:

I just want to pass on to you that there have been more thefts and break-ins in the neighborhood. Two bikes were stolen from 1xx W St NW. Both  were chained - one to the front porch and one to the rear deck. Each were taken on different days. I don't have the date but it was about a week or a week and a half ago. Yesterday, May 22, persons gained unauthorized entry to 1xx W St NW from the rear and stole 3 laptops from inside the house.
                                                                                                                                     

I am putting out a flyer in my block asking neighbors to be more vigilant of any  activity that raises even the slightest question in one's mind.
