"Empathy Cafe" and Conscious Film Night

"Who's Driving the Dreambus?" Film Screening
A feature-length documentary exploring life’s most profound mystery

Friday, May 16th -- 6:30PM - 9:30PM

Are you curious about a powerful way to establish deep connections with anyone you meet or already know?

Are you interested in learning about cosmic truths which cannot be revealed by rational thought but which might be realized through many practices such as yoga?

Are you simply interested in finally hearing the Vedanta and the Advaita Vedanta explained in plain English?

The Peace Circle and Samsara House 2023 have teamed up in May to offer their monthly Empathy Cafe and Conscious Film Night to combine learning fun way to really get to know others through the magic of Nonviolent Communications and then watching another mind-blowing film that seeks to expand our awareness of reality.
"Empathy Cafe" Starts at 6:30PM
Film Starts at 8:30PM

About the Film:
Life is full of big questions: Who am I? Why am I here? Why is there suffering? Is there life after death? and - ultimately - the question we all try to find the answer to, How can I find happiness or peace of mind?
But what if that search for happiness was based on a huge misconception, a misconception that has been drummed into us since birth, that we are separate individuals?
In Who’s Driving the Dreambus? film makers Boris and Claire Jänsch go on a personal journey through a series of interviews with eminent spiritual teachers such as Jeff Foster, Gangaji, and Genpo Roshi, philosophers and writers - in a quest to unravel what it means to be alive. This radical and challenging documentary ventures into the heart of the mystery of identity, flipping the idea of spiritual endeavour on its head, revealing a message so profound and yet so simple that it might just end the search.
