Dear Neighbors,
Howard University will host a
Zika Symposium, Tuesday, August 30, from 9:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.,
covering topics such as pathogenesis and epidemiology, manifestation and
diagnostic testing, models and methods for studying Zika, as well as, the
development of vaccines and antiviral agents targeting the
virus. Presenters include: Howard University experts
and researchers from Puerto Rico.
The event is open to the public and
will provide an opportunity for the community to learn how to best protect
themselves against the disease. Continental
