Subject: Updates for DDOT moveDC June Public Workshops

Let’s Get DC Moving! Read Below for Updated Information for Union Station and the Web Meetings.

Join DDOT at our second round of workshops to help plan the district's transportation future.  moveDC is the District's initiative to develop a coordinated, multimodal, long range transportation plan.  The June workshops build on what was learned from the workshops held in March 2013 During these workshops, DDOT will present several potental approaches to meeting the Districts's future transportation needs. Participants will be asked to identify the positive and negative elements of each approach, suggest projects that should be included in each, help identify priorities, and share thoughts on trade-offs they would be willing to support.

Please share this information with your community, co-workers, members and customers. Workshop notifications in English and Spanish are attached to this message.

Each of the upcoming events will offer similar content and input opportunities.  You need only attend one.  In June, you will be able to:

  • View information on current transportation conditions
  • Better understand how we may grow in the future
  • Learn about trends that could affect how people travel
  • Review different approaches to accomodate people's travel needs
  • Share your ideas to help DDOT refine these approaches
