Get you ticketS NOW to help us raise an additional $5,000
All of us at Common Good City Farm have been busy putting together an exciting night of farm, food, and community and now we need your help!  We have been offered a challenge and YOU can help us acheive our goal.  If we sell 100 tickets to A Night on the Farm between now and Monday, September 23rd, we will receive an additional $5,000 in event sponsorship.  All you have to do is spend a memorable evening with us, support a worthy cause, and truly make your contribution count by joining other friends of Common Good in purchasing your tickets TODAY!

Can't make the event?  We hope that you can join us for A Night on the Farm, but if you are unable to attend, please consider making a contribution to help support our work.

EVENT DETAILS
Common Good City Farm is holding our second annual fundraising event on Thursday, October 3rd, from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Common Good City Farm is alive during the day. School field trips see the plant cycle in action. Adults learn how to grow, eat, and cook healthy vegetables. Volunteers weed, plant, and harvest - keeping the farm productive. On October 3rd, the farm will come to life at night. A Night on the Farm will be a magical evening, unlike any you’ve ever spent in Washington, DC – a rare chance to experience all a farm has to offer, without leaving the city. The night will include:
• Tasty farm-fresh food from Big Bear Cafe, Blind Dog Cafe, Mothership, Mockingbird Hill, Smoke & Barrel, and Union Kitchen favorites 2Armadillos, Goose Eats, and Banana Love Muffins
• Hands-on workshops about urban gardening
• Festive music and fun raffle items
• A special honor to the farm's founding Chairwoman, Dana Bryson

Don't miss your chance to win one of these great raffle items:
  • $100 gift certificate to the Red Hen
  • Site assesment and garden consultation from Love & Carrots, an organic garden design and landscaping service
  • Gourmet chocolate tower from John & Kira's
  • Healthy dinner party for four from Why Food Works
  • One year pass to all 2014 Common Good City Farm workshops
  • A beautiful hand-drawn watercolor collection of Latin American recipes, Comida Latina, by Marcella Kriebel
  • A Day in the Country ~ spend the day in scenic Sperryville, VA using an idealic country house as your homebase for hiking, relaxing, and taking in the country
  • A collection of hand-crafted lotions, soaps and salves from Leafyhead Lotions & Potions
