loud party on the unit block of Seaton Place NW this past Saturday, 09-07-2013

See this message from a Seaton Place NW resident:

I am surprised that there was no mention of the loud party on the unit block of Seaton Place NW that was ended by MPD on Saturday night around 11:00 p.m.  There was loud music and rowdy party goers, fights ensued and arrests were made.  Some neighbors received a nice note from HU students informing them of the impending party and the hours of duration.  It was shocking how loud the party was and how many people were in the house and backyard.  This event was not a welcome sight.  We are a neighborhood and some decorum is needed.  We all need to respect each other and the loud music and rowdy activities were nowhere near respectful.

Send and email to bgriffin@Howard.edu. This is Barbara Griffin and she is in charge of dealing with this sort of thing and has been very responsive to some early problems we had north of RI when school started

Also, if you find an opportunity, talk to the people or person who held the party and let them know you were effected or, when you hold your quiet party, be sure to invite them.
