Comics
Against Humanity comes to Old Engine 12 on Saturday, 5/28/2016
You ever try playing Cards Against Humanity … with a
group of comics?
Granted, some things can’t be unheard, but it’s the
laughs that have made Comics Against Humanity such a wildly popular gathering
in D.C. On Saturday, May 28th, the show takes its outrageous hilarity up to
Bloomingdale for the first time, making its debut at Old Engine 12 Restaurant
(1626 N. Capitol St., NW).
Doors open upstairs at 6pm, with Old Engine 12 offering a
fantastic selection of food and drink options. At 7pm, host David Coulter kicks
off the show, alongside D.C. comedic heavyweights Chelsea Shorte, Jesse Thomas,
and Dee Ahmed. A portion of the proceeds go to benefit N Street Village (nstreetvillage.org), helping to provide
homeless and low-income women with transitional shelter, recovery housing, and
other essential services.
