SATURDAY APRIL 20TH FROM 10AM - 1PM...

The Bloomingdale Civic Association Is Seeking Block Captains, Canopy Keepers, Organizers, Gardening & Landscaping Enthusiasts And Most Importantly General Volunteers For Our upcoming Spring2013 Clean Up & Planting Day - Saturday April 20th 10AM - 1PM. 
     
LEND A HELPING HAND to your community and enjoy a social morning of energetic activity, buzz and neighborly fun - all while sprucing up and beautifying Bloomingdale!
 
The BCA's Beautification Committee needs motivated individuals to help with a variety of tasks on April 20th - Join Us! 

      

Are you "block-centric" and just want to work on your own block?  Not a problem - we'll connect you with your block captain and can provide you with materials and helping hands!  Or are you possibly just only interested in working on your own tree box or back alley?  No issue either!  Please still volunteer - we want everyone out April 20th - and the BCA will help anyway it can!
                   

Are you a business owner and want to get a group together under your company name/banner and give back to the neighborhood?  Do you want to focus on just beautifying around your business?  That's all great and fine - we'll help you facilitate that - just find some volunteers to help!
                   

Are you a church or other religious organization that can inspire and mobilize your parishioners to help a great cause and contribute to the community?  Then please join us and be a part of it all!    

         

Do you have your own tools and garbage bags?  If not - no worries - we will be providing garbage bags and a supply of tools, gloves, free mulch and plants - on a first come first serve basis.  We will also facilitate a special garbage pick up through out the neighborhood that late afternoon - bag everything and we'll pick it up!

       

You can't make it on April 20th?  No worries!  Join us for an upcoming event - like FLOWER POWER | 2013 (tentatively scheduled for late May/early June) - or even just consider making a small donation to the BCA to go towards plants and shrubs!  Every contribution will be used in its entirety for needed materials - help beautify by making a modest donation of $20 or more today!  Or better yet - do both if you are able - volunteer and donate to the BCA for materials!!!
