What's the current status of Bloomingdale's suite of Hofgard houses?
39 V St. NE: This single-family home will undergo major repairs, including new insulation and fire protection, window upgrades and other changes. This was one of several homes renovated and flipped by Insun and Jefferson Hofgard, a Northern Virginia couple whose allegedly shoddy work spurred a consumer protection lawsuit filed by the D.C. attorney general. The couple agreed last fall to pay $300,000 in fines for various building infractions.
