I am trying to figure out the house numbers for the unit block of Adams Street, NW -- they appear to have changed some time between 1912 and 1929. 

While I am trying to figure out how to search this, I thought you could share the picture and see if a neighbor could provide the answer.

(Washington, DC)  – The Metropolitan Police Department’s Narcotic Enforcement Unit, announces recent arrests that have been made in cases in the District of Columbia.
                           
Fifth District:

On Friday March 24, 2017, members conducted an operation in the 1600 block of North Capitol Street, Northeast.  CCN: 17-047-974.  The following person was arrested:
    
    • 45-year-old Antoine Kenny, of No Fixed Address, for Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
On Friday March 24, 2017, members conducted an operation in the 100 block of Florida Ave, Northwest.  CCN: 17-047-999.  The following persons were arrested:
              
    • 41-year-old Charles Leon, of Northwest, DC, for Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance.
    • 27-year old Ricardo McBean of Southwest, DC for  Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance.

Catholic University School of Architecture Spring Lecture Series lecture


"Imagining Tomorrow's Washington, D.C." 

presented by Pechakucha Night 
Monday, March 27, 5-6pm, 
Koubek Auditorium in the Crough Building (the School of Architecture building)

One of the speakers will be Professor Miriam Gusevich who has long worked to find a much brighter future for McMillan Park, and has crafted an alternative design proposal for revitalizing McMillan that is *consistent* with the recommendations of the Comprehensive Plan (not "not inconsistent," but literally consistent with them), suggestions and expressed wishes of the community, and general high aesthetic appreciation for the history and beauty of the site as well as the needs and wants of the community.  Professor Gusevich will speak about McMillan briefly as one of five persons on the program.

About Thursday Night:
  • Per the typical ratios of community output, McMillan supporters outpaced those in favor 5:1
  • The Office of Planning gave their opinion as to why they approve building downtown sized buildings next to rowhouses vulnerable to gentrification
  • The Dept of the Environment could not answer questions about their own studies
  • DDOT says the developer will pay for the stop signs, cameras, traffic lights, and other "mitigation"
  • The Secretary of the Commission would not accept printed testimony by those who were not actually present at the hearing leaving numerous people wanting to participate out the "the process"
  • Cheryl Cort of Smart Growth DC admitted that Vision McMillan developers fund her organizing
