We had a package stolen from our front porch on the 100 block of U Street NW, on April 19th at 4:47pm.  We have a few video stills from our surveillance camera of the thief. He didn't look squarely at the camera, but perhaps someone on the listserv might recognize him.  He was walking with another man who was wearing a black pants and a blue long-sleeved shirt (unbuttoned and untucked).  After snagging our package, they walked in the direction of 1st Street.

package theft today on the 2000 block of 1st Street NW

This is just to alert people in the neighborhood. We had a package stolen today 4/26/2016 shortly after it was delivered on the 2000 block of 1st St NW in Bloomingdale. According to the time stamp of USPS tracking, it was delivered at 11:16AM and it was not there at 11:45AM when we checked. Unfortunately we don't have camera footage of the thief. USPS usually hides packages behind our front steps, but this thief must have followed the postman.
