Green Paws: Holistic pet care workshop

From Bloomingdale's Green Paws, 81 Seaton Place NW, 2nd floor:

We want to remind you about a really wonderful free event tomorrow, Sunday, June 10.

Dr. Katie Stembler, one of the city`s only holistic vets, will be speaking from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. about alternative therapies for animals. If you`ve been considering a raw food diet for your dog or cat but didn`t know if it was right for you, this is the time to find out. If you read that article about pet acupuncture in the Post recently and were intrigued, here`s where you can learn more. If you want to know how diet therapy could improve your dog or cat`s overall health, Dr. Stembler is the one to ask.

She`ll be answering all these questions and more at Green Paws, 81 Seaton Place NW. The event is free, but space is limited so we do ask that you sign up. Well-behaved pets are welcome to attend. Workshop attendees also will get a 10 percent discount at neighboring Bacio Pizzeria.

We really hope you can make it, and please spread the word! More details and registration can be found here: http://greenpawsdc.eventbrite.com/
