Dear Bloomingdale neighborhood,

Come out to volunteer to help maintain Crispus Attucks Park: Saturday, November 16, 9am-noon!  (No problem to volunteer for just a portion of the time).

As you all know, much of the work to maintain the park only happens because of neighborhood volunteers.  Next weekend, we'll tackle two main projects:
  • Planting bulbs (could be a fun parent - child activity!)
  • Mulching the shady area on the V street side
When: Saturday, November 16, 9am-noon (ok to come for only a portion)
Where to meet: Crispus Attucks Park, of course! (near the Memory Garden)
Who: Everyone interested in helping maintain and beautify the park.  Kids welcome!  Bulb planting is fun for kids of all ages!
What to bring: Nothing required, but bring a trowel and gardening gloves, if you have them!

We'll provide the mulch and bulbs, and we aim to have water, coffee and snacks available.  Hope you can make it!

P.S. Stay tuned for an announcement about our annual holiday light-stringing even in December!
