Historic Preservation Education: proposed Historic District for Kingman Park

Since Bloomingdale is mulling neighborhood Historic District designation - thought that this might be of general interest to the community:

Greetings:   The DC Historic Preservation Office recently received and filed for hearing one historic district nomination:

Proposed Kingman Park Historic District – Case 16-19 - ANC 5D, 6A and 7D
                        - nominated by Kingman Park Civic Association

Public hearings for nominations are scheduled by the Historic Preservation Review Board as their calendar permits under the authority of the Historic Landmark and Historic District Protection Act of 1978.   The nomination is posted on the HPO website at:  http://planning.dc.gov/node/1182216 .
