Short notice I know but the Capitol Hill Restoration Society is hosting a free presentation Wednesday night:

Architect Nakita Reed, principal of Encore Sustainable Design, will make a presentation on improving energy efficiency of our historic homes on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
Preservation and sustainability are intertwined ideologies. Buildings consume more energy than any other sector in the United States and as more buildings become historic – and new sustainable technologies are invented to reduce the energy consumption of building operations – there will be a more expansive conversation on what’s allowed on historic buildings.

This final presentation in the Capitol Hill Restorations Society's "Sustainability Series" will be held  6:30 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room at Northeast Neighborhood Library, 330 7th Street, NE.  Hope to see you there!
