Greetings First Street Tunnel Stakeholders,

Over the last few days we have received some calls on the FST Hotline regarding weather related issues among  residents in the First Street Tunnel area. While we have addressed those calls (special thanks to Jeff Simon for his efforts to brave the elements to get the job done), we wanted to also share an article (attached) found in DC Water’s “In Today’s News” that we believe might be helpful as you negotiate Winter’s  possible impact on the pipes in your home.

Regards,
Tom and Vickey

Newspaper and old rags tied around the hose pipe faucet really helps! As long as you remember to do it before the snow/ice happens!
