Just for everyone's information, on Monday, during the
daytime while nobody was home, a house on the south side of the unit block was
the object of an attempted break-in.
Only glass was broken, they did not get past the security door, but it
is a warning for us all to stay alert, even during the day. There was no camera footage, but the owner is
now considering getting a camera, as we all should, to prevent this from
happening in the future and also to help with catching the perps.

someone tried to steal a concrete column off our front porch yesterday, but it proved too heavy for them to carry.
