directly across the street from the Howard Theatre (HT), 625 T st. N.W., It
was formerly a vacant lot which included Jersey Walls, debris and the homeless. Now, the property has been put to use. With a 5 year lease, T
st. Cornerstone LLC will have the following events: weekend Farmer's
Markets, films, fashion shows, live entertainment and activities for
seniors and kids. On August 4th from 8:00 pm-10:00 pm, there will be a
movie night to celebrate Obama's birthday. There will be a documentary
about him shown; and, they will feature speakers, comedians and live
music.
