What do you do with the produce that you purchased at the farmers market?
What do you do with the cheeses and puddings that you purchased at the farmers market?
The pickles and the kimchi?
The microgreens?
The pastas, soups and sauces?
The baked goods? The pies?
How would you like to share with the community what you do with your Sunday BFM purchases ?
Let's create a contest!
Even though we are near the end of the 2017 market season -- next Sunday, 11-19-2017, is the last BFM for 2017 -- let's
see how many BFM visitors can share via social media what they do with
what they buy at the Bloomingdale Farmers Market!
Your post needs to include the hashtag of
#BloomingdaleFMcreation
For this week -- as in today, Sunday, 11-12-2017, through Saturday, 11-18-2017 -- you are invited to create Twitter tweets, Instagram grams or Facebook posts using the #BloomingdaleFMcreation hashtag -- and be sure to include the name or Twitter, Instagram or Facebook accounts of the BFM producers whose "products" that you purchased today and doing something with.
Need a sample suggestion?
Here is a meager Instagram suggestion below:
Just prepared a nice stew using produce from the Sunday @BloomingdaleFM -- tomatoes from @garnersproduce, radishes and sweet onions from @mountainvfarm and broccoli from @truckpatchfarm! #Yum #BloomingdaleDC #BloomingdaleFMcreation
There will be a random drawing on Sunday, 11-19-2017, of all of the social media that include the #BloomingdaleFMcreation hashtag and mention one or more of the BFM vendors listed below.
The prize? A small WhiskeDC pie -- whatever is available at next Sunday's WhiskedDC stand. Sound good?

Let’s help promote the producers, the Bloomingdale Farmers Market
and our community!
And note, this is the first time doing this. I suspect that this will evolve and improve.
Let's give this fun contest a try this week.
Remember -- you need to include #BloomingdaleFMcreation AND at least of one the BFM producers' names.
