public land in Bloomingdale

Tooling around the DC GIS map -- I found a map of the public land in Bloomingdale.

Let's take a closer look.
 

36 Channing St NW and 160 Adams St NW are owned by DHCD, ostensibly to be developed by Howard University as workforce housing.

Next up: the DC Water "field office" at 2036 1st Street NW on the southeast corner of 1st and V Street NW.  We are expecting a For Sale sign to be mounted in the front yard.

These two parcels at Rhode Island Avenue NW and T Street NW are federal land?

News to me.

Finally, the two small triangular park spaces along Florida Avenue NW are federal properties.
