Sam repeatedly referenced that demo had already started. That is incorrect. I told him that, but he either didn't listen or decided I was wrong.
No demo has occurred. Unless you consider dirt removal demo. Removing 2 1/2 feet of dirt that had grass on top to reveal the industrial site underneath does appear like demo. But it is far from it.
The story also makes it appear like the site was once a park and could possibly easily be converted to one. Also wrong. Unfortunate because people will believe a new report from someone, who I personally spoke with, that admittedly has little understanding of the history of the site.
