despite that the DC Register notice from 07-03-2014 indicates that the McMillan Mayor's Agent hearing is set for Friday, 08-01-2014, it's not

Recall that the DC Register notice which came out on Thursday, 07-03-2014 indicated that the Mayor's Agent hearing was scheduled for Friday, 08-01-2014.

And recall that Vision McMillan Partners indicated that the Mayor's Agent hearing was being postponed.

So why did the DC Register notice still indicate Friday, 08-01-2014?

Bloomingdame was curious -- and dropped an Email to Bruce Yarnall of the DC Historic Preservation Office asking about it.  You can see the reply below:

Tim Dennee who handles administrative duties for the Mayor’s Agent indicates the Notice just published as you note was sent to the DC Register on June 5 2014, several weeks in advance of my notice via email and listservs dated June 23 2014.

Scroll to the entry that reads:
The Mayor's Agent Hearing Officer's planned hearing related to McMillan Reservoir, 2501 and 2507 1st Street NW, originally scheduled for August 1, 2014 has been postponed at the request of the applicants until zoning commission hearings related to the property are decided. The proposal is to hear the case no earlier than October 2014.
