We live next door to the Hofgards' house at 160 Adams that has been vacant for 3 years. The Hofgards finally did temporary remediation last week for the erosion of our properties that they have been causing, but the house is still a disaster.
James - Sorry for what you are enduring, but glad to hear that there has been some work to protect your property. I hope the the Attorney General's office and DCRA are doing a good job of keeping you updated on what is going on.
Good to see that there was a permit for the recent work.
"TEMPORARILY RE-ESTABLISH BEARING OF EXISTING FOUNDATIONS AND SIDEWALKS FOR ADJACENT PROPERTIES WITH COMPACTED SOIL UNTIL PERMANENT FOUNDATIONS CAN BE CONSTRUCTED."
But it looks like they do not have permission to do any more work at this time.
