Does anyone have a reputable contractor familiar with DC code that I can pass along to a friend of mine? The scope of work involves completing a fixer upper job for a home renovation/gut job - single family plus legal basement rental.
To date, framing and about 50% of rough in of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical is complete on the interior. Remaining of interior and exterior of house remains as does front and back yard.
More details about the status of permitting and scope of work details can be discussed with the owner.

We used Impact Construction (Justin Sullivan is the owner) to renovate our rowhouse in Ledroit Park - (legal, not visible from the street) pop-up of a formerly low-ceilinged third floor and new bathrooms, kitchens, and flooring throughout. They were great to work with and I'd highly recommend them. I wish you the best - dealing with that sort of construction project is a huge pain and is going to be expensive.
