Bloomingdale, a central DC neighborhood with a high concentration of Victorian-era row houses, counts few new condos in its property inventory. But the impending opening of a boutique condo building called Beale House has presented Washingtonians with a unique opportunity to buy into this trendy and diverse neighborhood.
Beale House consists of 16 sleek, modern residences built behind a historic, full-brick façade that has been a part of the Bloomingdale neighborhood for nearly a century. Developed byMILLER and designed by Cunningham | Quill Architects, the property includes one one-bedroom and 15 two-bedroom homes. Prices range from the mid $400s to the mid $500s, with very low condo fees.
Sales for Beale House have begun, by Urban Pace, and homes will be move-in ready in winter 2015. Those who buy soon can handpick finishes like countertops and flooring.
