Can a backflow prevent be installed outside of your basement on the main sewer line that runs through your front yard? Thinking that would be cheaper than going through your slab.
If your sewer runs out the front to the street, and your front yard is DC property, you would need to see if it is allowed to install the BFP on the DC property and sewer line.
I had thought the same thing about it being cheaper, then I talked to a plumber who said it is actually easier to break up concrete than to dig through the extra feet of dirt.
