Power Outage on Rhode Island Ave. NW
Commissioners,
There
is currently a power outage affecting some of the homes on the 100 and 200
block of Rhode Island Ave. NW as well as the traffic signals at 2nd and 3rd.
We
have contacted Pepco about the issue. They informed us that an overhead
transformer exploded in the area and
that they are working to have power restored by 6:00pm.
I
am letting you know this because a few residents came outside believing that
the DDOT construction hit a line. That is not the case. At any rate, I wanted
to keep you informed.
Please
