"Halloween on Thomas" planning update #4

Eva Hambach provides an update on the 2013 Halloween on Thomas Street event:
 
 
 
We reached $2,442.00 as of 9/29/2013!!!

Thank you all for allowing us to reach the target in time.
         
And thank you to all the neighbors who do not live on Thomas St.---we really appreciate your participation! Thanks for the kind words & kiddo drawings that came along with your contributions.
 
Your money will cover all expenses, the music, the street performers, the face painters, the balloons, apples, pop corn, candy and more. You'll see posters advertising the event as soon as next week.
 
Event Recap:
                                                  
- Festivities are scheduled for Thursday, October 31st from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
- The theme is a "New Orleans Masquerade."
- We'll get started with 2 stilt walkers and 2 face painters.
- At the same time (new item),  to warm up the crowds, we'll  get a free hour-long musical contribution from our own and proper hip-hop talent Solstik.
- Black Masala, the band everybody liked so much, will perform from 7:00- 9:00 pm along with the silks dancer and the 2 hand balancers.
-  And the return of The Great Mitchini…
