Popville: new Red Hen/DC Brau collaboration beer coming Tuesday, 10-01-2013

From our pals at Popville:

New Red Hen/DC Brau Collaboration Beer Coming Tomorrow

1st and Seaton Pl, NW

From an email:

“I wanted to send over the details of Sebastian Zutant’s second collaboration beer with DC Brau that’s launching Tuesday, October 1st. Sebastian is the co-owner/beverage director at The Red Hen.
This one is called the Dorcia and they’re brewing it by aging the Penn Quarter Porter on the lees of RdV’s Rendezvous blend in a Bordeaux barrel from Linden. It’s then removed and filtered. The result is a red wine driven, robust porter with a strong chocolate finish. It’s smoky, complex and great for fall.

They’ve made eight kegs and will be serving it for $9 a pint.”
