Subject: Pepco Capital Grid Project - Ward 5 Presentation in Bloomingdale

Dear Mr. Roberts,

Pepco would like to post the below information on the Bloomingdale Neighborhood Blog. The information announces a presentation we will host in Ward 5 to inform the community of Pepco’s proposed infrastructure initiative, the Capital Grid project. The Capital Grid project is a forward-looking plan that will strengthen the resiliency and increase the reliability of the electric system. Specifically, the project involves upgrading three existing Pepco substations, building a new substation, and installing a 10-mile underground transmission cable. These improvements will make the electric system in the Capital area less vulnerable to strong storms and other unexpected events.

The purpose of this post is to invite your members/subscribers to a community meeting where we will discuss the Capital Grid project and what customers can expect during implementation and construction. The presentation will be given at The Bloomingdale Civic Association’s monthly meeting on Monday, April 16, St. Georges Episcopal Church, 160 U Street N.W. from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

We are requesting email RSVPs to Capitalgrid@pepco.com and we are inviting all to visit our website www.pepco.com/capitalgrid for more information.

We look forward to your response on our request for posting this information. Thank you in advance for your consideration

Sincerely,

The Capital Grid Project Team
