As a part of accomplishing our mission of making a positive difference in the lives of youth, we hosted the Resounding Joy Choir from Ohio last week at our site. In addition to them mentoring and tutoring kids, they helped us at the EXTENSION Center by working on the computers and other task. Should you or friends have job opportunties for the youth who will be working in our summer Positive Alternative Pants Off the Ground Job Readiness program that starts on June 25 through August 3rd. we ask that you contact us directly to let us know if you will allow a youth to do on the job training/learning at your job site. Thanks for your consideration, Dr. J. Perkins.

To Dr. Perkins, staff and leadership at New Beginnings and the Bloomingdale Ward 5 Community.
Thank you so much for allowing us to come and minister at New Beginnings on April 21st. We feel privileged that you allowed us to come and spend some time with the young men at New Beginnings. We enjoyed meeting the staff and working with the other ministry volunteers as well. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful as we went through the security check-in and during the time we were setting up in the auditorium. We also truly appreciated the wonderful snacks and beverages you provided for us after the concert. The brief interactions that I and others had with the young men who came to the concert were very positive and we enjoyed the opportunity to shake hands and say hello. It is our prayer that God blesses you richly as you work to restore these young men to meaningful and productive lives. We pray also that you will know how wide and long, and high and deep is the love of God who longs to redeem us all.
In Christ, Tracy Miller (Director) and Resounding Joy
