Teri Janine Quinn: Rock the Vote, Bloomingdale!

See this 5/12/2012 message from Bloomingdale Civic Association President Teri Janine Quinn:

Neighbors,

Today is the last day for early voting. If you cannot vote today and you did not request an absentee ballot, please go vote today and try to bring a neighbor with you to the polls. Our elected officials are well aware of which precincts show up to vote.

When we call upon them to act on our behalf and they know we do not show up to vote, our pleas are much, much less compelling. Let's make our voices heard, Bloomingdale!

Early voting for the Ward 5 special election is available at:

Voting by touch screen
Turkey Thicket Recreation Center 1100 Michigan Avenue, NE May 5 – May 12 (except Sunday) 8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Voting by paper ballot
Board of Elections 441 4th Street, NW Suite 250 North May 5 – May 12 (except Sunday) 8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

You can also vote by mail. Requests for an absentee ballot must be received by Tuesday, May 8.

P.S. - You can register at the polls. Not registered to vote? You can register at the polls on Election Day if you bring one of the following items:

•Current and valid government issued photo identification card with your address
•Current lease or utility bill with your address
•Bank statement with your address
•Government issued check with your address
•Paycheck/stub with your name and address
•Other government issued document that shows your name and address

Rock the Vote,

Teri Janine Quinn
