See this message from the Crispus Attucks Development Corporation, a private community park occupying the courtyard space bounded by the alleys of the North Capitol, U, V, and First Streets NW.

Stay local on Giving Tuesday —
Support Crispus Attucks Park

On this Giving Tuesday, why not keep some of your year-end giving right here in Bloomingdale—consider a tax-deductible gift that supports Crispus Attucks Park.

The park exists solely on donations from generous neighbors like you. It’s run entirely by unpaid volunteers who believe in Bloomingdale and want to provide a safe, green space in our neighborhood. 100% of the park’s funds go DIRECTLY to the maintenance and upkeep—it is not a city park and receives NO money from the District. Each year, it costs roughly $10,000 just to maintain the park.

So please consider giving locally to Crispus Attucks Park on this Giving Tuesday. To donate online, visit http://www.crispusattuckspark.org/support.html. You can also send a check, made out to Crispus Attucks Development Corporation to:

CADC
69 U St NW
Washington, DC 20001

You’ll get a tax receipt letter following your donation so you can write of your generous gift. Give now and apply your gift to your 2012 taxes!

Crispus Attucks Park is operated and maintained by Crispus Attucks Development Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit made up entirely of volunteers and your Bloomingdale neighbors.

Looking for an organization to make a tax-free contribution to for 2012? Why not consider an organization close to home, like Crispus Attucks Park?
