On Mon 18th Nov 2013 at approximately 6.45pm, a resident of our fair neighborhood had just parked his car at 1st and Adams, and was in the midst of taking his belongings into his house. A group of young adults who happened to be passing by shouted obscenities at him before one of them assaulted him. Luckily, the resident was immediately assisted by an off-duty policeman, indeed a very senior policeman, the Commander of Division 2. The Commander was able to track down the suspect, and an arrest was made within 25 minutes of the incident.
