Last year we helped nourish more than 600 low-income families and seniors before the program ran out of money. And we expect twice as many people this year!
The program starts again this Sunday. Last summer 50-75 of our neighbors stood in line at the market table every Sunday in July and August for food access tokens, Produce Plus checks and DC Green's Farmers Market Matching Dollars.
It was a very powerful experience.
People thanked you and blessed us and told us:
