SPECIAL EVENT: POTSHOTCOMICS — JUNE 6
A special late evening production of Wake n Bacon takes place on June 6th. Doors open at 8 pm and show starts at 9 pm. The 45th annual White House Smoke In asks for your help. Elizabeth Croydon has arranged this free night of comedy with the hope you will make a donation of $10 or more at the annual event.
John Pylka pulls off the smoke in each year for under 20 thousand dollars. Money goes to truck rentals, audio equipment, fliers. All performers and speakers volunteer. The event starts around 11 am with a speak out on the White House lawn followed by a March down Constitution Ave to a baseball diamond where an all day concert takes place. The concert ends when the fireworks begin.
So Saturday June 6th the Wake and Bake line up looks like this:
Host Michael Manning Ford performs all over the DC area and Elizabeth is thrilled to work with him again.
