Why not a park at McMillan . A huge park restored to the 1913 elegance, the fountain, the promenades the Hawthorne trees. Views and sunsets. The VMP plan is being shoehorned into our park, after the city govt. Reject the VMP plan, fight the unhealthy, anti-environmental govt. that his insulted us with McMillan.let the beautiful landscape deteriorate for 28 years. This park would been restored , and enjoyed for all these decades had it been located in the sections of Dc, the govt. respects. The flooding needs to be eliminated by natural mitigation. Put the $50 million into tree, ground cover, recharging cubs, permiable surfaces, take up the asphalt, make parks, like crispus attucks throughout the area. Demand responsible zoning, a moratorium on over urbanization,,real responsible government!!we deserve a Glen Echo historic park , right here for all of our benefit,, ttake back your land from consumerism, and materialism,,,call the councilmembers now!!!
