Greetings Bloomingdale/LeDroit Park Residents:

As many of you are already aware, DC Water is hosting a number of public meetings in support of the Environmental Assessment phase of the First Street Tunnel portion of its Clean Rivers Project. Following the April 24 public meeting to gauge public comments on the Environmental Assessment, DC Water is embarking upon a series of site meetings with residents in the blocks that will be directly impacted by construction of the project.  It is our hope that, during these more targeted meetings, we clearly convey that we have taken into consideration the concerns raised by residents during further review of our design for the project.

As you will see in the attached notice, we have reached out directly to residents in the following blocks to schedule meetings: Flagler Place, Adams Street, V Street and Thomas Street. In addition to the electronic notice emailed to residents in those blocks, we will also be hand-delivering hard copies of the notice to residents and will be placing telephone calls to residents this week. The notice will also be placed onto our website for added convenience.

Thanks much for your time, and please let me know if you have any questions regarding any of the meetings.
