good news: 1812-1814 North Capitol St NW to undergo major alterations, etc.

Washington Business Journal reporter Michael Neibauer mentions two neighborhood addresses in his permit review today.  
                                                                      
I have only pasted the two entries for the neighborhood (and not his full set of permits reviewed for today.)

  • 100 Florida Ave. NE: With the structure and facade complete, MRP Realty was issued a permit to start work extra early (and end a little late) on this 400-unit, 14-story NoMa apartment building, the first phase of the Washington Gateway project. Construction activities, "generally confined to the interior of the building," will begin at 5 a.m. and end at 7 p.m.
  • 1812-14 North Capitol St. NW: These two three-story multi-family buildings will undergo major alterations, to include reconfiguration of all floor plans, refinished floors, addition of balconies and repairs to the exterior walls. The owner for both buildings is listed as MED Developers LLC.
