DC Water cutting down the treebox trees at Flagler & Adams St NW, as previously advised -- part of the DC Water dropshaft preparation

DC Water indicated months ago that the treebox trees around the three locations in Bloomingdale where the three dropshafts would be installed -- Flagler and Adams, 1st and V Street NW and 1st and Thomas St NW -- would be removed at some point.

Today is the day for the treebox trees on the 2200 block of Flagler Place NW at Adams St NW.

DC Water has also advised that at the end of the big dropshaft project, new treebox trees will be planted.
