Kirby has lived in our ANC since 1986 and he is committed to seeing our neighborhoods of Stronghold and Bloomingdale shine.  Kirby has long been an advocate for our neighborhood:

                  

·      Member of the MPD 5th District Citizens’ Advisory Committee, helping craft appropriate police-community interaction efforts

·      Officer in the Stronghold Civic Association and one of the founding members of the predecessor Stronghold Concerned Citizens Group in the late 1980s.

·      Active member of the Orange Hats “BEE Coalition” during the local drug violence in the late 1980s.

·      One of the Stronghold Civic Association delegates to the McMillan Advisory Group, working with the city to try to include community input into plans for this important site.
