Board Game Party Picnic over at Meridian Hill Park -- Saturday, 05-30-2015

See this event announcement from Clinton James:

I'm hosting a get-together this Saturday at Meridian Hill Park that I'm calling "Board Game Party Picnic!" It's meant to be a casual friendly affair from 11-2pm, open to all! I've got more details at this meetup site here.

Boardgame Party Picnic!

Saturday, May 30, 2015

 to

  • Meridian Hill Park

1600 W Street NW, Washington, DC (map)
  • Look for the picnic blankets with balloons!
  • The Board Game Party Picnic! is this Saturday May 30th from 11-2 at Meridian Hill Park.
I'll have blankets set up with balloons, games and some snacks while supplies last. Also, people! Great, fun people to meet and play games with.
This is an all ages gathering so feel free to bring young'ins along too if you don't mind helping them find a group to play with or running a game of your own. The more the merrier!
Where in Meridian Hill Park? The part of the park that is really flat and grassy-- you know what I'm talking about? Close to where the drum circle is on Sundays. I'll have some decorations up so it should be easy to find us.
Games I'm bringing to the party:
Sheriff of Nottingham, King of Tokyo, Star Realms, Paperback, Masquerade, Avalon, Sushi-Go, a fantastic lawn game Kubb, a frisbee to throw around, and more!
If you've got a game you wanna play-- bring it!
Things you might want to bring with you: (all optional)
    Suntan lotion/sunglasses/hat
    Blanket
    Games
    Snacks to share

Hope to meet some new folks and game it out in DC's great green space. Seeya soon!
    -Clinton
