I
have received the request below from MPD to get the word out about an example
of graffiti on the 100 block of V. We
are trying to find out if others have had their homes tagged with graffiti.
Thanks
for your help in getting this request to our neighbors.

Good
evening Mr. Salatti,
Last
night we received a call for defaced property. I am not sure if it was
something because of Halloween or kids being kids. I wanted to ask you if you can spread the
word about doors being spray painted. This particular incident occurred at 1xx
V St N.W.
If anyone has had this happen to them, please
give them my email address so that I can have this issue addressed and figure
out what is going on.
Thank
you in advance! And have a wonderful day.

I saw one like that, but with the 666 over it right near the Howard U Starbucks. Idiots must have just discovered Black Sabbath and don't get the joke.
My neighbor on V had white and purple spray paint on her 2 lion figurers on the side of her steps
Another neighbor on V has purple paint on her wall
Lastly there was a recident with a redish SUV that had white spray paint on her vehicle door the morning after holloween.
All on V between 1st and Flaggler
I recently noticed tagging on a garage door on the Unit Block of V St NW, N Side. Very similar to what was described by Kristian
a couple of years ago I got "tagged" on my alley garage door. When I submitted email request to DC, the graffitti was washed off almost immediately. Kudos to the city for a great anti-graffiti program. Story and foto at http://ragandboneslady.blogspot.com/2010/07/sess-queef.html
