Scott:

We are holding an organization meeting to launch the Worthy Ambition: LeDroit Park/Bloomingdale Heritage Trail, the new neighborhood amenity. There is little left to do except celebrate with an event to say thank you to all involved and, equally important, to inform and promote the new heritage trail to the Greater Washington area. These events usually run one hour and include members of the working group that created the trails as well as leaders from city government.

This is a neighborhood endeavor and I understand that you host a neighborhood list serve. The best launches reflect the neighborhood so that it is important that we have residents participate in the planning and implementation of it. Could you share the information about the meeting with  your readers?

Maybelle Taylor Bennett offered to host this initial meeting at Howard University.
